2014 no.1 Re-MIX DUB STYLE
The wine front - review by Campbell Mattinson
McLaren Vale blend of grenache and mataro. Wild fermented and generally treated in a “low fi” manner.
Fresh. Flavourome. Bold but mannered. Exuberance within borders. This is just pure pleasure to drink. Boysenberry and black cherry, a aniseed-like jubeyness, a warmth, a rush of leather, tar and spice. One sip and you’re hooked. At $20 it’s straight into no-brainer territory.
